LABOR AND PARTS WARRANTY

Align Garage Door

Align Garage Door stands behind the quality of our workmanship and the products we install. This warranty outlines the coverage provided for labor and parts following service or installation of a garage door system.

1. Labor Warranty

Align Garage Door warrants all labor performed by our technicians for a period of one (1) year from the date of service or installation.

  • This warranty covers defects in workmanship related to installation, repair, or adjustment performed by Align Garage Door.

  • If a labor-related issue arises during the warranty period, Align Garage Door will correct the issue at no cost to the customer.

Labor warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance

  • Damage caused by accidents, vehicles, weather events, flooding, fire, or acts of God

  • Modifications, adjustments, or repairs performed by anyone other than Align Garage Door

  • Issues caused by structural movement of the building or improper framing

2. Parts Warranty

All parts supplied and installed by Align Garage Door are covered by a 1 year warranty unless specifically detailed by the manufacturer (most garage door manufacturers have a limited warranty to cover manufacturing errors).

  • Align Garage Door will assist the customer in diagnosing and facilitating warranty claims with the manufacturer when applicable.

  • Manufacturer warranties typically cover defects in materials or manufacturing, not labor.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Replacement parts provided under a manufacturer warranty are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

  • Labor associated with replacing manufacturer-warranted parts is not included unless specifically stated.

3. Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal operational noises or cosmetic changes over time

  • Damage resulting from improper use or failure to follow manufacturer recommendations

  • Commercial or high-cycle usage unless explicitly stated in writing

  • Electrical issues outside the garage door system, including power surges or improper wiring

4. Complimentary Annual Tune-Ups

Customers of Align Garage Door receive complimentary annual garage door system tune-ups as part of our ongoing commitment to safety and performance. These tune-ups do not extend or restart warranty periods and are scheduled by the customer reaching out to schedule once a calendar year.

5. Warranty Claims

To request warranty service:

  • The customer must notify Align Garage Door within the applicable warranty period.

  • Proof of original service or installation may be required.

  • Align Garage Door reserves the right to inspect the garage door system prior to approving any warranty work.

6. Warranty Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original customer and is not transferable unless approved in writing by Align Garage Door.

7. Limitation of Liability

Align Garage Door’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of covered labor or parts. Align Garage Door is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.
